Delivering Health and Wellness Information to Commercial Truck Drivers

Seasonal Tips for Health & Safety

As the days get shorter and the temperature starts to drop, driving conditions can worsen and sickness can spread. Stay safe and healthy this fall by planning ahead. Prepare your vehicle by checking your tires regularly, being alert when driving in the dark, and driving carefully in case of animals, leaves, and frost. The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) provides more information to help you drive safely during the fall weather.

Stay healthy this fall by:

  • Scheduling a doctor's appointment
  • Washing your hands frequently
  • Getting vaccinated in preparation for the Flu and Covid-19 seasons
  • Making sure to get enough Vitamin D as the days get shorter
  • Dressing warmly as the temperature drops

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides more information on how to stay healthy this fall.
